Double win for PSP at the 2024 South Holland Business Awards
To say we had a fantastic night at this year’s South Holland Business Awards would be an understatement. To win both the Supporting the Community Award (after 3 years of being nominated and the one closest to our hearts) and the Business of the Year Award, recognises our unwavering dedication to supporting children’s homes and years of exceptional business growth, for which we are truly thankful.
Supporting the Community
Our commitment to supporting the community has always been a cornerstone of our business. As we have grown, so have our regular charitable donations to local causes. We have always sought to give back to those with the greatest needs and make a meaningful impact on the welfare of children in care across Lincolnshire and is a cause exceptionally close to our hearts.
In 2024, we proudly entered our third and largest year supporting local children's homes. As our turnover increased, so did our contributions. We are now honoured to support six children's homes, which provide care for up to 40 children, supported by a team of approximately 124 adult carers who work tirelessly to ensure the well-being of those in their care.
Our goal is to ensure the children in care celebrate special occasions just like the children who are with their parents.
Over the past year, we have significantly expanded our support and ensured that every child receives £100 on their birthday and at Christmas. Special summer days out have been organised for every child and their carers, giving them the rare opportunity to enjoy activities and experiences independently. Additional treats for Halloween and other widely celebrated occasions have also been provided, with Easter this year seeing us donate more than 145 Easter eggs to both the children and staff.
Business of the Year
Since our inception in 2008, we have had an unwavering dedication to pioneering digital transformations which has undoubtedly fueled our growth. We are not just service providers; we are strategic partners committed to the success of our clients. We have always stood at the forefront of IT transformation and dedicated ourselves to guiding our clients through complex technological changes and rescuing projects that have veered off course. Our 16-year commitment to innovation, excellence, and client success has established us as leaders in the industry and one of the largest independent IT companies in the UK.
This year, we have expanded our team to 34 employees, 95% of whom are based in Lincolnshire. We are incredibly proud to support and nurture local talent, recognising the privilege of being able to provide opportunities in our community.
One of our proudest achievements this year is launching a multi-million-pound IT project for a global awarding body in Canary Wharf. This extensive project, focused on implementing core CRM, finance and operations systems through Dynamics 365, has not only played to our core strengths but also pushed us to explore new skills and areas of expertise.
To ensure our team could meet these new demands, we invested heavily in a state-of-the-art Transformation Suite, fitted with the latest technology to ensure our team of IT project managers, business analysts, software testers and governance professionals have everything they require to to excel. The client has already expressed satisfaction with the initial results, noting significant improvements from the first project phase.
This past year has been exceptionally transformative for us and we look forward to continuing this journey of growth and success in 2025. Our commitment to our team, clients, community and environment will remain at the heart of everything PSP does as we are about to embark on our 17th year.

Despite an incredible result last week for PSP, tonight, just one week later, we are attending the Peterborough Telegraph Business Excellence Awards 2024, having also made finalists for the Digital & Technology and Small Business of the Year Awards. Wish us luck!
