WHY CHOOSE PSP TO BE YOUR DIRECTOR OF IT?
Our skilled professionals have over 30 years of experience providing curriculum ICT support in the education sector in both the independent and state sectors. The role of the Director of IT has shifted from a focus on “keeping the lights on” to embedding technology into schools. We put pedagogy at the heart of any digital strategy, technology should support learning, it should add value and be a journey to improving outcomes. Modern technology such as AI and the cloud provide great opportunities for schools to reduce their staff workload and grow digital literacy skills.
WHAT IS YOUR DIRECTOR OF IT ROLE?
PSP’s outsourced Director of IT role provides agile, cost-effective support to your school's ICT, operationally, educationally and strategically with technology. We can ensure you’re working within the DfE's digital and technology standards for infrastructure or accessible learning, guiding you to achieve value for money and making the right strategic technology decisions.
Our agile role is a mixture of on-site visits to the schools, blended with dedicated support from our office-based staff. We add value to our schools through the day-to-day management of onsite IT teams, strategic guidance and support, technology roadmaps, compliance and standards reviews with actions, tender support, digital and technology frameworks for learning, and navigation through the cyber minefield.
